Your Exit Strategy
1. I do not plan on actually pursuing this opportunity.
2. Although it would be great to start a business, in this time in my life I do not think it is a practical venture for me to pursue as I am still a full-time student with many time obligations. Additionally, this is not the career path I am preparing myself for. In the future I would absolutely consider starting a business, but right now I will not be pursuing this opportunity.
3. I knew as soon as I picked this opportunity that I was not actually going to pursue this venture; this was always going to be my exit strategy. However, I do believe I made all my decisions based on if I was actually going to pursue this opportunity. I wanted to see if this opportunity was actually viable, and I wanted the experience of figuring out the details of starting a business. I do not think it has influenced my decisions in past assignments. If I had the time and this was my passion, I think I would have pursed this venture; however, as of now this will just remain an idea.
Hello Shaina, it is okay if you do not pursue this venture, and not everything you think of can be achieved because of many reasons, from simply not having the resource to not wanting to do it because it's not your passion. For your passion, I hope you become successful in what you do with it, good luck to your future endeavors!

If we are all being real here, I don't think 99% of the people in this class will actually go through with their startup idea, however It was definitely a fun and interesting concept that taught us all a lot! I am not at the correct time in my life to start a business right now but maybe I will be in the future! Got to keep an open mind!

ReplyDeleteIt is completely understandable you're not pursuing this venture as none of us probably will. One thing I would like to know hypothetically is what would your exit strategy have been if you had gone through the venture. I found your venture very interesting and would have liked to have seen what became of it. I wish you the best of the luck on your next endeavors. Thank you for sharing.

ReplyDeleteI understand where you are coming from. However, I wouldn't be so sure! I know you recognized this possibility of coming back to this idea in the future, but I think you definitely should. It is a great idea and while it may not be your intentions currently, you may feel the desire to pursue your own business and be your own boss. I would certainly keep this idea in the back of your mind and always be prepared to come back to it. Good job!
