  1. Hey Shaina,
I couldn't agree more with you regarding the students and the flu. As I'm sitting in Newell writing my review, I'm literally hearing at least five different people cough, sniff, or sneeze. More efforts should be taken by everyone, whether it's students or faculty to take measures to combat the spread of the flu. I also heard about the the reckless student driver that was in the news as well. It's really unfortunate to see a lack of driver education in the state of Florida, something in which really should be handled accordingly by the state.

  2. Hi Shaina,
Thank you for bringing these stories to light, especially one and two because of their relevance living in Gainesville. The amount of students coming down with the flu is almost scary which is why I am taking vitamin C daily to hope that I am not one of them. Also, driving in Gainesville is a madhouse whether it be on or off campus. It is important to be extra careful especially when other people's lives are at stake anytime someone gets behind the wheel.
